Unlocking benefit of active stretch: Eccentric muscle action not preload maximizes MTU SSC performance. Kudos to T Göcking, PhD student UniBw M, and D Holzer, Daniel Hahn, T Siebert. Great DFG public | @[email protected] project team. Thanks for very constructive review process Journal of Applied Physiology.

The SSC effect we observed was not associated with cortical or spinal excitability modulations, nor with stretch reflex activity or pre-activation, and was likely driven by mechanical mechanisms related to active muscle stretch. Preprint available at: doi.org/10.1101/2024.0…

Data acquisition for our first cTMS Rogue Research study with cobot Axilum Robotics is completed. Looking forward to the results! By the way: not all of our participants are >1.9 m tall and slouch on the MagVenture UK Ltd treatment chair like this...😉 UniBw M dtec.bw Universität Regensburg

Another piece to the puzzle. In this paper, we show how muscle-tendon unit decoupling can contribute to the SSC effect. Collaborative work by Denis Holzer (TU München), Wolfgang Seiberl, and Tobias Siebert (Uni Stuttgart) Funded by DFG public | @[email protected] OA: doi.org/10.14814/phy2.…
