Yes, impressive! 👍 I've been using ScrAIbe-WebUI for this (transcription and diarization) but OpenAI's offering is of course more polished and complete. Still, when privacy matters, check out the open source ScrAIbe-WebUI on GitHub - it's based on Whisper(X) and Pyannote-Audio.

Even during a relatively quiet week, we couldn't tackle everything on our list - such is the rapid pace of AI development and progress. And since AI never sleeps or goes on vacation, I'll be hosting ThursdAI's next episode while Alex takes a well-deserved break. More info soon!

AI failed LiveCodeBench Pro Hard. Exactly like >99.9% of human coders. Meanwhile its 2116 Elo drops it straight into the top 1.5% overall. And all of that first try, without tools. This doesn't show how bad AI is at coding, it shows how good it is - and it'll only get better! 🚀

Spot on! The solution to our problems caused by technology (which is basically human evolution) isn't less tech, but more tech - and AI is the one technology with the potential to finally help us discover, develop and establish long-term solutions to our fundamental problems. 🚀

Here's the missing link after we got advanced voice modes: integrating our AI assistants with existing tools and infrastructure to make them truly useful, able to act on our behalf!

Yes, and the advantage of better AI for everyone far outweighs the advantage of copyright protection for some - IMHO, therefore, copyright should not apply to AI, both for training and for the resulting AI. Train on our data - make the resulting AI available to us just the same!

Google is seeking feedback on their upcoming Gemma model. For me, it's clear: I want proper system prompt support and a 70B+ model featuring new technology, like Gemma 3n's capability to create submodels for quality-latency tradeoffs. This would significantly advance local AI!🚀

"Her" is now a reality with 11ai, offering full customization (big kudos for allowing an extensive system prompt! 🫶), MCP integration, and multilingual capabilities - all of that currently free. Very well done, ElevenLabs, this is how it's done!
