Right now, our weather teams are predicting that clouds may start rolling into the area at the beginning of our launch window. We need clear skies in order to launch, so cross your fingers for us tonight!

The first 2 TOMEX+ sounding rockets will release vapor tracers that will form milky, white clouds allowing us to “see” the winds in space. If you’re watching from the East Coast (NC to NJ), you might be able to see them! *They could look slightly different from the photo below.

It's night two for TOMEX+! The window for tonight's launch attempt, Aug. 26, opens at 10:30pm EDT and runs through 3:30am. Launch window means we can launch any time within that timeframe. Those in the mid-Atlantic region may catch a glimpse of the rockets, weather permitting.
