Thanks to everyone who helped us raise more than £300 for my charities at our tombola stall at Armed Forces Day last weekend

An inspiring visit to New Cross Hospital this afternoon to meet with the trust charity which I'm fundraising for this year. I had a tour of some wards and got to see the Mayoress (my daughter) hard at work on shift. Amazing people working for our NHS

It was a pleasure to catch up with some of my old friends at Bartlams Lettings Limited I would like to thank them for making a generous donation to my chosen charities for my year as Mayor! It's great to see local businesses supporting our great city #wolverhampton

I'm deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic news about former Wolves player Diego Jota. Such an exciting and talented player. I fondly remember meeting him at the Wolves promotion celebration back in 2018. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and teammates.

I've just been to Molineux to lay a bouquet in tribute to Diogo Jota on behalf of the City of Wolverhampton. Looking at some of the tributes and speaking to fans was deeply emotional. Diogo - both the player and the man has left an indelible mark on our city. May he rest in peace

A fun time was had by all at Tettenhall Summer Fete this weekend. Thank you for inviting me and it was great to meet so many people enjoying their Saturday in the village centre.

I had the honour of representing our city at the Mercian Regiment's annual pilgrimage to their memorial at Crich, Derbyshire yesterday. I was joined by Mayors from across the Midlands as we laid wreaths to remember all those from the regiment who have laid down their lives.
