Woodberry in Oxford The theme of the 2023 trip was “Signs of Ancient Rome in Britain.” The group visited Roman historical sites such as Bath, Chedworth Villas, and the British Museum. As the group traveled, students were tasked with exploring a chosen aspect of British culture.

The AP Physics 1 exam is statistically the most difficult of all 38 exams the College Board offers. In 2023, the 17 Woodberry 3rd formers who took the exam all passed. Therefore, the class earned the opportunity to give their teacher Mr. Jacobs a haircut/style of their choice.

WFS Skeet defeats Hampden-Sydney College The two all-male institutions faced off for a friendly match this past weekend and the Tigers came out on top 86-85. Hampden-Sydney’s team captain (and WFS alumnus) Wills Jannerbo was the medalist of the event with a high score of 22/25.

WFS Wrestling joins Halloween Book Giveaway For the past fourteen years, St. Thomas Episcopal Church has given away free books to the Orange Co. children during Halloween. This year, our boys joined the effort and helped distribute books to the trick-or-treaters.

Taylor Hall Renovation Update This week, boys were given the opportunity to sign a beam that will be installed in the new connector between Taylor and Turner Hall. Both projects began in the summer with both scheduled to open next fall.
