We had a fantastic Literacy Week and enjoyed celebrating World Book Day with lots of different activities and the masked readers were finally unmasked during last weeks assembly!

We are so proud of these children, representing Team Woodhead at the Burns Competition and wanted to celebrate their achievements together as a school at assembly! Well done girls! #excellence #determination

The Big Walk and Wheel challenge kicks off today! Children are encouraged to walk, scoot or cycle to and/or from school for the next 10 days! Our JRSO’s will be keeping track of how many children take part.

Raffle tickets for our fabulous rainbow hampers will be on sale tomorrow and next week! House Captains will visit classes each day so please send your child with change, if they wish to buy. Tickets are £1 and are available for each colour of hamper.
