An officer made a car stop on Sergio Gamino Jr., age 23 of Woodland. The officer observed the handgrip of a firearm protruding from Gamino’s pants pocket. Gamino was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Gamino was booked in Jail.
Today, 43-year-old Eduardo Plasencia entered Bank of the West on Main St. to Rob it. A customer convinced Plasencia that was a bad idea while the police were called. He changed his mind and was arrested for attempted bank robbery. No weapons were present during the robbery.
An officer assigned to the Traffic Saturation Detail saw a vehicle spinning donuts at East St and Beamer St. The officer stopped the car, cited the driver for exhibition of speed, and impounded the car for 30 days.
