Pop up garden cafe today!

Our community Garden stands strong through the heavy floods that occurred the past week.The floating office, bees,new keder greenhouse, and the compost toilet stood resilient to the flood. The Community Garden will be back open on Monday for everyone to visit.

We’re back on site this week, which means trustee Pat is able to undertake what is becoming an annual ritual: the creation of the “survival posey”, comprising flowers that survived the flood. Beautiful!

Testing our new automatic irrigation system in the Keder greenhouse. Powered by our solar panels, all trial and error at the moment but the garlic bulbs seem to like it! 🧄

Great to see the autumn sunshine again today, and a nice little job of cutting back and splitting up the autumn fruiting raspberry canes! ☀️
