LITTLE BUNTING briefly seen at Avon Meadows NR, Pershore early this morning, but no sign since. Seen in willows at end of boardwalk heading towards the river. Fantastic find by GHP. #WorcsBirds BirdGuides

It’s mid-summer and the breeding season is in full swing, with numerous species of rare breeding birds to find, record and report to help the work of the RBBP. Here’s some suggestions from Panel Secretary Mark Eaton

1/ Wondering why you should use BirdTrack? One of the reasons is that BirdTrack is well integrated to the bird recording network in Britain. It is the preferred method of entering records for many Ornithological Societies and Bird Clubs.

I’m honoured to be invited to the Hunnington Parish Council meeting on Monday evening to share how Nature Friendly Farming Bibbey’s Wild Farms under RPA stewardship has delivered a remarkable contribution to Nature’s recovery and a range of other benefits to local residents 🌞

As somehow news hasn't been passed on on both, a HOOPOE was photographed yesterday 19/09 near Castlemorton. People on site looking now. A Cattle Egret was at (still is?) #UptonWarren Flashes this morning #WorcsBirds @WorcsBirding

If you want to be able to make draft lists in the #BirdTrack mobile app, while the the system is offline this weekend, make sure you are logged in before 5pm and stay logged in. Then you can upload your drafts on Monday evening when things are back up and running.

Bird Clubs make fantastic use of BirdTrack records. We can help them all by using the Popular Places in BirdTrack or giving your places names sensible site names that can be found on a map. Please have a check though your place names and edit to give them clear names. Thanks!

There are UK-wide surveys of Woodlark, Dartford Warbler and Nightjar taking place this spring (in all habitats). Please help out if you can by taking on a square or two.

Great advice from RBBP and Ken Smith on looking for Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers. It's very easy to add breeding evidence and comments on your BirdTrack records. This really adds value to the record.
