We loved participating in the WorksopMusicFestival Prize Winners' Concert on Wednesday. A wonderful mix of schools, ages and musical genres. We are so happy to have been part of this celebration. steven roberts Rhys was so proud of this shield for exceptional commitment to Mount music.

Breaking News: The Academy Choir have won first prize for the 14th year in a row at The Worksop Festival achieving a distinction score for their performance of Bohemian Rhapsody and Thank You For The Music! Congratulations to all staff and students involved! The Elizabethan Academy

Worksop Music Festival is nearly upon us starting next weekend- 9th, 10th 15th-17th March Each day will be held at Worksop College apart from Friday Morning- Masonic Hall Afternoon- Outwood Portland Evening- Worksop College All welcome to come and enjoy the local musical talent

We have had an excellent first day listening to the strings and woodwind performance classes. An action packed day is planned from 9am tomorrow- we would love you to come and join us.

It has been School’s Day today at the Festival. So wonderful to hear the variety of music that happens in our Schools. You have entertained us all day. A big thank you to your teachers for all their hard work and encouragement too.

Worksop Music and Drama Festival 2025 will be held in March 2025. The dates for the festival are Sat 8th, Sun 9th, Fri 14th, Sat 15th and Sun 16th Mar (Sunday is subject to the number of entries). Details of how to enter are available at worksopmusicfestival.co.uk.
