A little demonstration of the teamwork between profusion Pete and Worksop Golf Club green staff as we complete construction on the final bunker of this phase of work (4 holes, 9 bunkers total) Returfing starts tomorrow
Work progressing at a pace on the new bunkers Worksop Golf Club Turfing complete on holes 1 and 2. Heather will be laid on mon/tues and the remaining turf will go down when it arrives next week. Once again maximum effort, pride and standards from the boys! 👏
With excitement building around this years bunker project Worksop Golf Club approaching completion, I thought I’d share a before and after from last years work as a reminder of the vision we’re working towards once the work has ‘grown in’
Worksop Golf Club Bunker project phase 2 now complete. The sand will be given time to settle and levels checked and adjusted before they’re open for play. Great effort from all involved once again 👏
Worksop Golf Club spring maintenance done! Other than the frost delays the weather has helped this year! Scarify, hollow core, sand, solid tine, sand (total of 60T) and brush. Hopefully we can brush again and roll before the weekend. The boys really got after it this week! 👏
On top of the course maintenance work this week Worksop Golf Club we also had vertidrain Dave aerating the fairways, plus we managed some dry cuts on certain areas too.

Getting toastie out here now Worksop Golf Club This has been a tough spring for greenkeepers. We’ve come out of a dry winter with sub zero temperatures and regular frosts straight into a drought with only 6mm of rain in the last 52 days! Good golfing weather though

Nice to crack on with some cultivation work on the greens this week at Worksop Golf Club now the weather is a bit more favourable. Everything greening up a bit from the recent rain, it hasn’t been much but a lot more than we’ve had in the last 3 months!
