WDC Executive Director lennyshallcross welcomes today’s participants for the final virtual roundtable in our Dementia in Latin America & the Caribbean series. And previews our Satellite Summit in Lima next month.


Co-chair Ishtar Govia sets the stage for today’s discussion which will explore how private and public entities can work together to develop and implement effective policies, raise awareness, and engage both the public and private sectors in advancing dementia care.






Co-chairs Horace Cox & Ishtar Govia lead the discussion on policy-level solutions needed to improve outcomes for people facing dementia in the Caribbean. Among the possible solutions, Horace spoke to the role health data systems can play in integration and breaking down barriers.


The inaugural WDC Satellite Summit in Lima, hosted in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, will challenge participants to think boldly and offer solutions from prevention, to research and care and ask how advocacy can help secure those advancements. More: bit.ly/40yLo09
