In many rural communities, expectant mothers once faced long distances, lack of information & traditional beliefs that kept them from delivering at health facilities. Through World Vision’s support, SMAGs were trained to educate and escort mothers to clinics for safe deliveries.

Limited access to essential child healthcare services due to inadequate medical equipment had long been a challenge at Ndondi Rural Health Post. This changed when World Vision, through its Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) program, donated assorted medical equipment to the facility.
