This past Thurs, our Worthington Middle School - Northwest ISD Top 3 Teams from our school wide Competition of 32 teams, represented us at their 1st ever Northwest ISD Robotics Competition! Glorious setting at the OLC & gracious student volunteers scoring & refereeing from NISD CTE.

🧡🐾Proud of all of our Tigers who were honored at the NISD Board of Trustees awards! Artists, leaders, performers, and athletes: all of these students are Focused and Fierce and we are Loud and Proud with them!

Final Robotics Challenges: Ss have choices to display yearlong building, coding, & driving skills. I provide some, but most develop their own. This team built a transporter that could maneuver & deliver cargo effectively. Not quite Amazon delivery yet, but a gr8 start! NISD CTE

Our Inaugural Worthington Middle School - Northwest ISD Battle Bots competition! 6 teams competed- great considering this is our Lego Club, not FIRST LEGO League teams. Drama, fun, & competition! Encouraging to hear a parent say they wished they had classes like this “when they were in school”- same, sir.
