These poems by Henneh Kyereh Kwaku are a testament to an artist’s reflection of the times. We’re the loudest as a people holding our leaders accountable, but how accountable are we of our own selves? Read “Anything for the boys” and other poems here - tamperedpress.com/anything-for-t…

This African literature decline conversation is interesting as it feels like I’m in an alternate reality. The structures that existed 10 years ago have mostly disappeared. Also maybe I’m older and unaware of things, but we probably need data on what we’ve lost.

In our small writing group, we talked about the future of African Literature, what African literature actually means and how we could create solid structures for it to thrive. Unfortunately, we discovered that funding is just an aspect of its plethora of challenges.

I am teaching this class every Friday, 7-9pm. It's all about taking short stories apart and figuring out how they tik and tok then stealing their techniques for your own writing. Admission is rolling basis. Join at any point for 10 sessions. DM open, retweets very appreciated.
