Students from WHEC and WREC participated in the Design Challenge at the BCIU. Students were challenged to think about Sustainable Development Goal #9 and how cities, roads, bridges, and systems could be built or improved to be more efficient, sustainable, and accessible.

Our Forensic Science students and Ms. Heckman visited the Berks County Crime Lab. They saw how technicians capture fingerprints off of items, how they use comparison microscopes to look at bullets, and of course, the Forensic vehicle!

Congratulations to Leonore Das, a 7th grade Spartan, who was one of four students to represent Berks County in the annual MATHCOUNTS State Competition held this spring. Approximately 160 students competed from 23 chapters around the state. This is a wonderful achievement!
