Today all the materials of my first NWO Veni related fieldwork around Antarctica we transported. Everything will be brought to Bremerhaven where it will be unloaded onboard of the RV Polarstern AWI Media. I will see the stuff back later this year in Cape Town. @RIBESresearch

New paper where we investigated methane dynamics in the brackish Canals of Amsterdam! Surprisingly, we found a limited role of sulfate-AOM. However, natural organic matter seems to be the key electron acceptor for methane oxidation.
