Today our fieldwork equipment will be brought to UiB Earth Science where it will be loaded onto the Norwegian G.O. Sars. We will see our stuff back in Svalbard where we will board the ship to investigate trace nutrient cycling as part of my NWO Nieuws Veni project @RIBESresearch Nioz At Sea

Check our new preprint where we investigate the role of dissolved manganese(III) in seasonally euxinic sediments. @RIBESresearch Geosciences UU egusphere.copernicus.org/preprints/2024…

Tomorrow we leave with a group of scientist from the Radboud University and Nioz At Sea to Svalbard. There we will investigate Fe and Mn dynamics in the seafloor and water column as part of my Veni project. See a small post about the work we will do (in Dutch): radboudrecharge.nl/nl/artikel/mid…

Last week we investigated metal and greenhouse gas dynamics around Svalbard as part of my Veni project. Very proud to have led the hard working and enthusiastic team on board the Norwegian G.O. Sars. @RIBESresearch Nioz At Sea University of Bergen UiB
