We had a blast hosting Yale Pathways to Science students at the lab! Students explored the field of games for health, user-centered design, and VR experience guidelines. We concluded the week with student presentations! Loved hearing their creative ideas to addressing community problems :)

Dr. Kimberly Hieftje, Co-Director of XRPeds, shared her emotional story describing the feeling of grief after the loss of a child during the Pediatric Grand Rounds. Her experiences inspired the creation of her game, Year of the Cicadas.

We had a fantastic time hosting Dr. Terika McCall's Master's students for their User-Centered Design of Digital Health Tools course! During their visit, students explored how immersive technology is applied in mental health and education through our lab's various projects.
