Building knowledge is not screaming Eureka every-time you get a p<0.05... Try to disprove your own results, invite others to do so, publish negative finding... "Knowledge consists in the search for truth… It is not the search for certainty" (Karl Popper)

Super excited this paper is out! Journal of Physiology 🔥 Please do yourself a favour and scroll down to read the author profile 😂 The CBF response is vastly different between sauna, spa and exercise in the heat but doesn't seem to dictate thermal tolerance: physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.111…

Help us learn about how tropical heat (especially with the blazing heat in SG!) impacts the physiology of Type II Diabetics during exercise. Feel free to share with anyone who may be keen to partake in this. Note: Looking for diabetic participants at this juncture:)

Pleased to share my newly published article (from my PhD work) examining the impact of heat on our human brain. Our brain motor activity and cognitive ability are impaired by heat. There could be a brain temperature range optimal for neural function! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37678507/

Happy to share new publication:) - Pre-exercise hot water immersion increased circulatory heat shock proteins but did not alter muscle damage or endurance capacity. It may be a viable strategy for more vigorous exercise - worth exploring! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
