Many doctors face unemployment in August. Today, there are only 59 jobs in England & Wales suitable for doctors finishing F2. Many will be limited by their F1/F2 rotations & academic engagement, with 26/59 jobs requiring speciality experience, and/or MRCP/audits/publications.

Doctors who trained in Britain. 2006, but on steroids. No RDConf. No ARM. No democratic vote. Unilateral policy from the government. Wes Streeting backing UK graduates more than the BMA itself.

Look at the self chosen parameters some will use. Why should you get priority over someone who is 5 days away having from ILR with a non-British partner who rent a house together. Easy to admit a line needs to be drawn when you conveniently fall on the other side of it.

If Department of Health and Social Care are telling us that restoring residents’ pay would cut down the funding available to other services, what they are actually telling us is that the gradual erosion of resident’s pay had been funding these other services to begin with.
