New paper on vertical integration and immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) use in metastatic NSCLC: doi.org/10.1111/1475-6…. Integrated oncologists adopted ICIs faster in 2015, but adoption rates converged by 2017. No significant change in ICI use after oncologists integrated.

Early PC billing rose considerably in 2010-2019, but remained low at 10%. Physician PC referral history and palliative care specialists in organizations increase early PC billing. Provider & org factors explain 30-50% of PC billing variance.
