More new art. This time, the slayer shield. Modeling this was pretty straightforward. But for the 1P view, the number and arrangement of blades had to be custom, or the rhythm/parallax wouldn't look right. Lots of back and forth with Emerson Tung who concepted this <3

Cosmic Mega Manc, one of the early AI we were developing during the early phase of DOOM: The Dark Ages. During this time still trying to find the look of Cosmic Realm critters, doing my best to draw from pre Cambrian life by giving him a giant trilobite to ride.

More of my art from #DOOMTheDarkAges: The Atlan Cannon. Made for giant robots, this is a boat-sized shotgun that shoots cannonballs for pellets. Concept by the awesome Colin Geller

Bishop Kreed's Ship from DOOM: The Dark Ages! This monstrously huge Maykr Ship was inspired by Darth Vader's Executer Star Destroyer and in its scale and detail compared to other ships. Power and Excess on full display! Modeled for game by Felix Leyendecker !

Kreed Ship from #DOOMTheDarkAges. This was modeled traditionally with subD, but due to its size, it also used a blended material for tiling material detail, a geodecal and stamp pass for surface detail and kitbashing additional props on top of that. Concept by Colin Geller

Some early development designs for what the Sentinel Barracks could look like for #DOOMTheDarkAges ! The ideas here were that they built the barracks on the site of an ancient war with massive beasts. Or, the barracks were a massive weapon used to kill them, later repurposed.

Sentinel Barracks and Dragon's Den concepts for #DOOMthedarkages . In order; Barracks Exterior, top of the tower/control room call out, Dragon's Den Exterior, and Cinematic concept of the interior/meeting Serrat. Really enjoyed exploring the more medieval fantasy of DOOM!

Some development concepts for the Spire of Nerathul level from DOOM: The Dark Ages! Had a lot of fun taking notes from Lovecraftian lore to pull it into the DOOM Franchise.
