Happy International Youth Day π Exactly a year ago, I had the privilege of joining the #IYD2024 celebration at PCC, Gomoa Fetteh. As part of the Youth for Health Project team, our engagement with young people revealed a pressing need for sustained and comprehensive #SRHR education.
For #IYD2025 , we are uplifting the voices of youth champions from the EU International Partnerships πͺπΊ co-funded #Y4Hproject. Annie from Zambia reminds us that investing in youth SRHR is investing in development. Hear her inspiring take on why #SRHR matters.
#IYD2025 @ Builsa South To mark Int'l Youth Day, Builsa South District hosted a radio session on Fumbisi Radio and an Adolescent Durbar at Pintengsa. With the support of Youth Advocates Ghana- YAG under the #Y4H project, these sessions highlighted issues like drug abuse and teenage pregnancy.
Empowered SRHR Youth Champions Through the #Y4H project, Youth Advocates Ghana- YAG, Marie Stopes Ghana π¬π & Ghana Health Service trained 40 adolescents from the Northern Region as peer educators and SRHR advocates. They received training on a wide range of key SRHR topics.
Learning Meets Funπ When education meets entertainment, transformation begins. Youth Advocates Ghana- YAG, under the #Y4H Project, paid a courtesy visit to Upper East Regional Education Directorate to introduce upcoming edutainment sessions in Bolga East, Bongo, Tallensi & Nabdam Districts.
