Last week, we commemorated #WRD2025 in Kyaka II. In #solidarity with those unable to attend, we visited health facilities across the settlement & reached admitted patients with sugar, rice & soap. We support children’s education in Kyaka II with Education Cannot Wait & Street Child.

Ahead of #WRD2025 in #Palabek, YARID shared radio messages in Acholi, Arabic & English, reaching even the most remote areas with vital info on #education, #livelihoods & #services. On June 26, we marched, planted trees & stood with communities growing change together. #Inclusion

We joined Innovations for Poverty Action for a #workshop to co-develop a #ToR for the #2Gen Approach that guides our work. When caregivers thrive, children do too & vice versa. Innovations for Poverty Action brought together Hilton Foundation supported partners to align on how to better support both generations.

Our ED Robert Hakiza joined local partners for a Governance and Leadership session hosted by Street Child. With CEO Tom Bannett leading, we explored what shared values, accountability & real collaboration look like, especially in supporting children’s education.
