Yesterday was day 1 of 3 days with us this week for YHA Lake District staff. We went home via Hawkshead, where Mic and Ellie Kent were running a drop in session on pine martens. Back On Our Map YHA England & Wales Forestry England Vincent Wildlife
Day 2 of 3 with YHA Lake District staff was a tree planting day. Several hundred native broadleaf trees in the ground on a lovely sunny day. Get in touch if you fancy a staff or group day at Hardknott Forest. @VisitGrizedale Wild Haweswater The Tree Council CumbriaWildlifeTrust
Day 3 with YHA Lake District staff & we were working on one of our neighbouring farms removing tree tubes. We took off about 400 tubes from some healthy looking trees. They'll now go for recycling or re-use. YHA England & Wales YHA Ambleside YHA Keswick YHA Coniston Holly How YHA Eskdale
