The adoption of UNSCR 2250 provides a platform for youths to actively support peacebuilding and conflict prevention interventions. With the awareness of this resolution and its provisions, more young people have been brought into the peacebuilding sphere. #Youth4Peace #Yes4YPS

The strongest demand expressed by young people is that of participation. Peacebuilding efforts should therefore include youths in all stages of the work so that peace interventions are grounded in their needs and align with broader human rights around inclusion and participation.
