I count myself extremely lucky to have been around Coach Yanders. He had an enthusiasm for life that few could match and lead countless people to become better versions of themselves. Please pray for his family and everyone else who was touched by this remarkable person. RIP❤️❤️

Hearing about the passing of Robert Yanders has absolutely hurt my heart. Rob gave his soul to everyone he met. My family and I send out our condolences to his family as they mourn. May God bless his soul.

WE ARE UNITED

Rob was a giant figure in the SWMO basketball community. As a player and later as a coach, leader and mentor to so many young people. Our state lost a very special man who will be missed. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. 💔

Been trying to decide what to say since this AM. Still can’t put words to it. The Basketball Movement has been my daughters safe haven for 7 years. She was cared for when she walked into the gym- as a person before a ball player. This is hard to comprehend and process.
