Good to have our first Tottenham Hale Labour branch meeting just now. An informal meeting in advance of the AGM on 6th July. Tottenham Hale Labour members do come along! Branches across Haringey are swinging back into action! So much to do and a fantastic manifesto to implement!

The idea that the Royals have been "dedicated" to a life of "selfless service" is a demonstrably absurd notion. It's one of the most successful ideological statements of all time, based on the immense material wealth and class power that the Royas still wield.

It's nonsense that any Tory MP's voted for or against Boris Johnson on the basis of ideas such as "honour" or "integrity". The Conservative Party as a whole does not know the meaning of those words.

100% solidarity to the Rail and Tube workers and their Unions who have decided on Strike action against planned job cuts, pay freezes and service reductions.

Great evening at the "Celebrating Mikis Theodorakis" concert hosted by the Hellenic Centre; featuring the excellent British based Greek band "Plastikes Karekles". Theodorakis, who died last september was Greece's most celebrated composer; and voice of the Greek Left for decades.

Good luck to La France Insoumise and the Nouvelle Union Populaire écologique et sociale (NUPES) on today and next Sunday's Parliamentary Elections. The success of Mélenchon's left alliance is crucial. Macron must be denied a majority.

All eyes on France. All eyes on Colombia. Socialism or Barbarism. Cliché or not, that truly is the central question of this century. From biopolitics, to geopolitics, to environmental politics to domestic politics..... Socialism or Barbarism.

Breathing cynicism and absolutely disgusting from Tory MP Tobias Ellwood on Sky news this morning : ".....Conservative MP Tobias Ellwood has called on RMT strikers to stop acting as "Putin's friends" RMT members will rightly treat this statement with the contempt it deserves.

Total, unconditional support for the RMT. As a trade unionist during the Junior Doctors dispute I know full well the sheer lies and smears that the Government and its media will heap upon striking railway workers this summer.

Just so we're clear: Sunak, Javid and all the other Tory MPs abandoning Boris Johnson aren't acting from "principle" or "honour". They've known what he's like from the beginning. They're abandoning him because they now think his leadership threatens their interests. That's it.

2016... Phew! Thank god David Cameron has quit. Worst Prime Minister in living memory! 2019.... Phew! Thank god Theresa May has quit. Worst Prime Minister in living memory! 2022... Phew! Thank god Boris Johnson has quit! Worst Prime Minister in living memory! BREAK THE CYCLE

Solidarity to Sam Tarry MP. He did the right thing joining the picket line in support of strikers. That's what the Labour Party is FOR. During this summer of industrial action all Labour MPs and Councillors should absolutely stand shoulder to shoulder with the Trade Unions.

With the Bank of England's announcement the second stage of the economic crisis starts in earnest... Nothing less that class war.. Class war 2.0. Waged by the rich, and this Government, against the rest of us.
