Asrın felaketi diye bir şey yok. Burası asırlardır felaketlerin, afetlerin coğrafyası. Hep böyleydi. Yapılması gereken yapılmadı, önlemler alınmadı, kurtarma işi becerilemedi. Bunun adı olsa olsa asrın ihmali, asrın akılsızlığı, asrın riyakarlığı, asrın cehaleti olabilir.
