This week I have had the privilege to present the work we are doing Yemaachi Biotech at the Africa HepatoPancreatoBiliary Cancer Consortium conference in Mombasa. Excited to expand our network of collaborators across Africa.

Great day visiting our collaborators at the Meru County Hospital and the county Chief Officer for health. The facility treats over 5000 cancer patients each year and we Yemaachi Biotech are excited to be partnering to shed light on the genetic basis of cancer in this great county.


Excited to be representing Yemaachi Biotech at a consultative meeting convened by Africa CDC to consider a continental agenda for genomic medicine and precision public health.


Today I am speaking at the Oxford Nanopore Gulf summit in Dubai about the groundbreaking work Yemaachi Biotech is doing in partnership with our clinical colleagues to leverage long read sequencing to improve outcomes in cancer in Ghana and across Africa.

Today we Yemaachi Biotech announce the launch of The African Cancer Atlas in partnership with Roche. This is a significant milestone for African cancer research and will generate a database of 15K whole genomes that will be accessible to African scientists. businesswire.com/news/home/2025…
