This week we’ve started to change up one of our wall displays in school in line with our updated #CurriculumRationale. We’ve started to gather evidence from the term so far across the 4 Contexts of Learning based on examples from Education Scotland

It’s official, we have our Bronze Award! 🌲🌳 we are loving our #outdoorlearning and now begin our journey towards Silver @WoodlandTrust

On this wet and horrible day we would like to share some good news- we have now done enough to have been awarded our Silver Award from the Woodland Trust 🤩🌲🌳🪵🌿 Here are some pictures of P1-3 planting the hedgerow bushes this week. Well done all, another great achievement!

We earned our Gold Award from @WoodlandTrust! In assembly yesterday Mr Wilson showed everyone the wooden plaque we have received which will hopefully be up on display in the entrance at the start of next week. Feeling proud! #outdoorlearning #pedagoofriday SBC Education

Well done to our P7’s who enjoyed their residential experience alongside all the other P7’s from the Kelso learning community. So many skills to take away from the time away; each challenging themselves in different ways.

It’s Friday again 🙌🏻 another week of great work. #PedagooFriday this week is over to the maths work of P1-3 but especially these P2’s exploring place value! “It says one thousand and twenty- I don’t even know how I know that!”

A fantastic YetFest (our end of term celebration) for all our pupils. Our Gladiators theme saw them decorate sweatbands, enjoy an inflatable obstacle course, face the duelling challenge and complete the slip-and-slide. Making memories! #OurCommunity

Amazing email just in this morning- we have achieved our Gold award from RSPB Scotland. Great work across our school this year working towards this. #OutdoorLearning #BigBirdWatch #WildWednesday SBC Education

Our outdoor learning work was recognised this week at the Greener Gateway presentation with a silver award. The judges commented on the schools biodiversity journey and in particular our school chickens and the role they play 🐓 #LearningOutdoors #Biodiversity SBC Education
