A spectacular Nozze di Figaro The Royal Opera with Maria Bengtsson, a stunning debut from Ying Fang, both brilliantly supported Luca Micheletti & Huw Montague Rendall. Hard to believe I saw the original production over 20 years ago, and it’s still as fresh. I might need to go again

Best of all: Ying Fang as Susanna, practically perfect in every way, fabulously well sung. Huw Montague Rendall is a petulant, dangerous yet goofy count (what a voice ❤️), out-goofed by Ginger Costa-Jackson's gangly Cherubino who scores a string of vocal bullseyes 🎯 #RBOFigaro
