Have you ever seen how 3D-printed polymers shrink during pyrolysis? Qing Sun is studying in-situ pyrolysis in the SEM jointly with great collaborators in the 3D Matter Made to Order. Pyrolysis kinetics can improve precise tuning in tailored functional metamaterials. #Microscopy #PhD
