Excited to start my faculty career as an #AssistantProfessor at Bioengineering_UTDallas and launch a research lab focusing on #polymeric_biomaterials. Extremely thankful to my incredible mentors Samir Mitragotri, Wenxin Wang, Brian Rodriguez, and amazing colleagues at UCD Charles Institute of Dermatology Wyss Institute Harvard SEAS.

When our trainees get ready to leave the lab to start their independent academic journey, they often ask me for advice on how to advise students. I tell them that the following four principles have guided me in my own advising journey Harvard SEAS Wyss Institute

This one by Samir Mitragotri and friends is a beauty, a powerful review on "PEGylated therapeutics in the clinic" that will get thousands of citations! aiche.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.100…

Even mild TBIs can cause lasting damage, and most are never diagnosed. A team at the Wyss, Harvard SEAS, & Boston Children's created a way to diagnose TBIs even when MRI scans showed nothing. Samir Mitragotri wyss.harvard.edu/news/shining-a…

Thank you Samir Mitragotri for visiting us and delivering the amazing and inspiring talk on hitchhiking and backpacks in our Distinguished Seminar Series Bioengineering_UTDallas. Always enjoyed chatting with him about research, career and life.
