Had an awesome time today making a mess with mountain bikes. The first official Club MTB ride! Dalby Forest was the setting - it really is the gift that keeps on giving Turns out the secret to happiness is… mud! Who knew?? Can’t wait for the next one 😊

Winter training has started! Tuesday saw the start of our weekly strength and conditioning sessions. Last night we had our first ever women’s spin class. Both will be a weekly club feature. Nothing beats the winter blues like working up a sweat! Roll on next year 😎

November is the gift that keeps on giving!! Such a wonderful day for a Club Ride - crisp clear skies and trees turning autumnally auburn. We’re blessed to be based in one of the most beautiful places on earth - Yorkshire. So many groups out - almost 50 Rouleurs on the road ❤️

Spin class! A new weekly addition to our Club schedule for winter - Tuesday night group spin Better York A chance to dance on the pedals and get the heart rate up. All with lots of laughs. A great way to keep motivated over the cold winter months. Bring on next year!

Annual General Meeting Last night we held our AGM at the fantastic TheCyclistYork. A great opportunity for us to reflect on the last year as a Club and for members to voice their ambitions for our future. Wonderful to see such enthusiastic engagement within our dynamic Club!

CLUB RIDE CANCELLED Sadly, this weekend’s weather means we have to invoke “Nigel’s Law” Nigel’s Law states: “Rider safety is our number one priority. We don’t ride when the temperature is below 2°C due to risk of ice bringing down a group” Can’t wait for the next Club Ride!

Ice Ice Baby! Sadly, it’s not a weekend to be on the roads. All Club Rides have been cancelled. Our advice: stay indoors and have a warming cuppa. Better weather is just around the corner. Virtual Club Ride tomorrow on Zwift for those who fancy it!
