First up, we're welcoming Kyle Rowley - the Game Director of Alan Wake 2. Kyle will be delving into the horrors of Alan Wake 2 and talk about how the Remedy team went about scaring its players. We're delighted to welcome Kyle Rowley and Remedy Entertainment to the festival!

Next, possibly our favourite title in YGF history. Sophie Artemigi - creator of narrative mobile games for women and casual gamers - with 'How to Make Games When Everything’s on Fire (Navigating Getting Banned from the App Store and Almost Dying Twice)' buff.ly/49qT7z4

On Thursday 13, we're staring out with a talk from composer, sound artist and audio designer Eli Rainsberry (eli rainsberry 🌱 on bluesky//insta) 🎵 They will be sharing how they created some of their favourite musical sounds and moments from the Wilmots puzzle games. buff.ly/49qT7z4

We've also got Leah Caldwell (Leah Lemoncakes), Cinematic and Gameplay Animation Producer at Larian Studios! Discussing their journey into games and sharing a few insights into how production in the Cinematic Animation Team went on Baldur's Gate III. buff.ly/49qT7z4

We also have a range of workshops from some fantastic leaders! Including Mel Cummings, taking us through what it takes to make concept art that will make your portfolio stand out from the crowd. buff.ly/49qT7z4

We're delighted to be welcoming Khan from Ubisoft Reflections for a workshop on narrative design with 'Let's Make A Character, AAA-Style' Khan will walk you through the kinds of methodology that AAA studios use in the narrative design of a character. buff.ly/49qT7z4

We'll also be joined by Annie Grudeva, Lead Game Designer at Radical Forge. In their interactive workshop, you’ll learn to break down games into Mechanics, Dynamics, and Aesthetics, uncovering how these elements shape player emotions and behaviors. buff.ly/49qT7z4

We're welcoming back Senior Artist, Jade Evans, for their workshop 'Do you draw it really small?' Jade will invite attendees to design a character based on prompts before simplifying, making designs more appealing and turning into game-ready pixel art. buff.ly/49qT7z4
