Two members of Purple Team are working towards their confined space instructors qualification. In preparation for this they ran a training scenario for the team, utilising some of the safe systems of work available to HART paramedics. Treating patients no matter where they are!

Yesterday 🟦 team braved the icy conditions and 🥶 temperatures to carry out SRT training. This finished with a clinical scenario of a patient with hypothermia.

A nice, unexpected Paediatric Anatomy & Physiology session delivered to Yorkshire HART Blue Team 💙 yesterday identifying key differences and delivering an insight and understanding into some common paediatric illnesses and how best to manage these in the Pre-Hospital setting. 👍🏻

We know James has been working hard behind the scenes in order to gain this qualification! Very pleased for him, and he’s already been bringing and sharing his new knowledge to the unit!

All teams have just completed USAR and EDBA training. Over the next 7 weeks, all teams will be completing High Risk Confined Space re-qualifications with our newly qualified instructors.
