Thrilled to see our new paper published in New Phytologist ! We describe #lipophagy #autophagy in the new extremophilic microalga Chlamydomonas urium, isolated from the source of the Tinto river (Nerva, Spain). doi.org/10.1111/nph.19…


Glad to see our work about #lipophagy in the new extremophilic microalga #Chlamydomonas urium published in New Phytologist. #autophagy (my favorite process) and #Nerva (my hometown ❤️) 🐞


Great work by Esther Pérez Pérez, M.Jesús Mallén Ponce et al. (2024) on how inhibiting #autophagic flux with concanamycin A in #Chlamydomonas urium, a newly identified #extremophilic green #microalga, increased the accumulation of #triacylglycerols and #LipidDroplets in contrast to C. #reinhardtii.
