I had a great meeting today with Ambassador David Puig Buchel π©π΄ Embajada de RepΓΊblica Dominicana en Francia We are happy to witness the DR's growing engagement since joining as an International #Transport Forum π Member last year, from Summit participation to the LAC High-Level Dialogue coming up in the fall.

Wonderful to reconnect in Paris with Prof. Kerem Alkin, who previously supported International #Transport Forum π as the Permanent Representative of TΓΌrkiye πΉπ·. Always a pleasure to exchange views and reflect on shared priorities, in transport and beyond.

A great exchange with Vice-Min Kees van der Burg @miniandwenglish and Amb Jochem Wiers π³π± We discussed transport infrastructure financing and how International #Transport Forum π insights can support sound policy making. Feeling energised to be back in Leipzig for #ITF25. This time, the International #Transport Forum π community gets together to tackle a big question: how do we build transport systems that stay resilient in the face of shocks? Looking forward to the new encounters and insights that await us this week.

What a pleasure to have Transport_LT | #StandWithUkraine Minister Sabutis π±πΉ with us in Leipzig. Lithuania was the International #Transport Forum π Presidency country last year, and the legacy of their engagement in our work is alive and strong.

I am also grateful for the support of our sponsors, who help ensure #ITF25 fulfils its role as the premier global event for transport policy. It was great to exchange ideas with Christoph Nolte, Executive VP at @Dekra_Konzern, a valued partner of International #Transport Forum π.

At the #ITF25 Opening Plenary, I spoke about the importance of discussing transport resilience on the global stage. International #Transport Forum π Summits are a space where experiences, priorities, and perspectives converge: from around the world, all corners of society, and all modes of transport.
