Another great turnout at the second Health MOT for older adults, wanting to age even better, delivered by a super sports science team from Leeds Beckett , next stop is to get them on a 6 month personalised health and fitness programme..and into the next older adults olympics!

Big shout out to our wonderful project placements from University of Leeds sociology course-Lola, Joe and Olly did a great job, speaking to 50 older adults about their attitudes towards #Digital culminating in a focus group.. invaluable research for us, great experience for them!

We had a great day out at the leeds #dementia friends event on Wednesday. Superbly organised as ever by Elizabeth from Leeds Older People's Forum , and Age Friendly Leeds , had tonnes of great conversations with people working so hard to support those affected by this terrible illness👏👏👏👏

Having a great Age Friendly Leeds day at #agewithoutlimitsday at Leeds city museum, with my Leeds Older People's Forum hat on..ukulele band, dance, poetry.. all performed by ‘older adults’..clearly life in us old dogs yet!

Lovely morning today at the #MensHealthWeek #bramley walking football match derby..thanks to lee at BEA for bringing over his team of all stars.. although in the end no match for the Bramley walking wanderers 😀. Sunshine, footie and food..what’s not to like!

After a project lead in time to rival HS2, the #Bramley #digital cafe, next door to Tesco, finally opens its doors on wed 23rd July. Open to anyone wanting help to get better on their phone or tablet, every Wednesday 3-5, it’s a drop in, booking details on the poster 😀
