It was a very spooky day in the Yruegas lab! 2nd year grad student Kaitlyn (Kaitlyn) gave her annual CHEM 600 research update, and we had a special appearance from our favorite FLPs! (Fresh Little Pups) The day ended with the unfortunate, but predicted, cleavage of H2!

Yruegas group annual holiday party was a hit! Many new traditions and memories made this year, including some stellar karaoke & a visit from Mr. Worldwide himself!

The Yruegas group took a little field trip yesterday to the student invited seminar at Texas A&M! Chemistry Department It was so great to meet Dr. Evans and learn about some amazing rare earth chemistry! And of course we had to stop at Buc-ee’s on the way back!
