This afternoon the Discoverers have picked some of the lettuce they have grown in the Polytunnel. They washed it and then all tried a little piece, what clever children - it looks lovely!

This morning Group 2 from the Innovators enjoyed their Trash Free Trails session on the school field. They all worked really hard and are looking forward to next week's session at the Brenig 😀

The Investigators and Innovators have been busy in Gardd Sinan this week, they have continued to lay the gravel for the seating area as well as filling up the planters ready for our fruits and vegetables to be planted 🍀🌸

The Innovators have had a great morning in the woods today. The group sharpened their sticks to clean them, they worked in small groups to light the storm kettles which took a lot of perseverance and then they had to manage their fires to toast their snack🔥

Innovators Group 2 had a great time with Trash Free Trails at the Brenig this morning😀They cycled with confidence and their hard work was rewarded with an ice lolly and a play at the park. The group leaders were really impressed with all of the group - da iawn pawb!

The Discoverers harvested their lettuce today, it looks delicious! They have shared it at the end of the day with those who wanted some, we hope you all enjoy it 😀

The Innovators have had a lovely morning at the Bodelwyddan allotments. They were treated to a tour of the allotments and found out about the different fruits, plants & vegetables that are growing there. A huge thank you to Grace’s family for organising the session🍎🍓🌽🥕🧅

The Discoverers had a great time at Home Bargains this morning. The children were well behaved and all picked plants to buy. Each child had the chance to pay for a plant using their money skills that they have learnt this term as part of our topic 'Garddio Gyda'n Gilydd'.

We’re always passionate about inspiring the next generation of #civilengineers. 🤩 That’s why we donated 6️⃣ safety barriers, 3️⃣ 0️⃣ cones, 9️⃣ hard hats, and 9️⃣ high-vis jackets to Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog’s new outdoor construction area. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👏

We were recently awarded a Food Garden Package from Keep Tidy. Today Huw joined the Innovators to erect the raised beds and plant all of the wonderful fruit and vegetable plants. These are now all in place in Gardd Sinan and we can't wait to see them grow 🍓🫐🥕🍅
