Hebin passed his PhD viva today, the first PhD from the group, congratulations Hebin Jiang Many thanks Dr Andrea Laybourn @andrealaybourn.bsky.social for coming over, Dr Raya AL-Dadah for organising everything, and Mingchao Liu for chairing the viva.

This week we had the second PhD from the group: Haixia passed his viva on Wednesday. Thank Timothy Easun Wei Tan for examining and Dr Zhong-Nan Wang for chairing the viva. This panel reminds me how interdisciplinary our research is. #chemistry #mechanics #materials
