Time flies -- now I am ABD. I can't tell how fortunate it is to receive constant feedback from my great advisors. Thank you, Ashley Leeds, Connor Huff, and @michtorresp, for helping me move forward with this project

Very honored to receive this award for my working paper, which is the basis of my dissertation project. Huge thanks to the workshop organizer @cdcrabtree, and fantastic discussants, David R. Davis, Amanda Murdie @futuredrwillis @mjoelvoss

I look forward to working with v, @PeterRosendorff, Ayşe Zarakol, and Elana Matthews at International Organization for the next five years. Thankful to Erik Voeten for his work and all the transition help, and to Yui Nishimura for agreeing to serve as our first graduate assistant.

I am so proud of my colleague, Dr. Yui Nishimura! Yui took on a really ambitious project about how NGOs influence government human rights behavior through the UN Universal Periodic Review. It's interesting and important research, and I can't wait for all of you to read it!

Finally defended my dissertation! Thank you to my very supportive committee, Ashley Leeds, Connor Huff, and @michtorresp. Thank you also to my fellow grad students Rice University Political Science for the encouragement throughout my time at Rice!
