On Wednesday, we successfully submitted our Youth Declaration on the Power of Agroecology for Climate Resilience in Zimbabwe in partnership with PELUM Zimbabwe. The declaration was handed over to Pro. Jiri Permanent Secretary ARDAS (AGRITEX) #YouthforAgroecology


On Saturday we joined Greening Kuwadzana Project @lgftrust for indigenous trees day commemoration in Kuwadzana community. Indigenous trees not only provide shade but play a critical role in providing medicine and other uses. #trees #plantatreetoday


Today we were in Ward 3, Mwenezi district, Masvingo province for a field visit organised by PELUM Zimbabwe and Mwenezi Development Training Centre . It was hosted by small-scale farmers in Mwenezi who have been implementing Participatory Action Research (PAR)


@BiovIntCIAT_en & CGIAR Climate Action have kickstarted a multi-stakeholder workshop in🇿🇼 w/partners ACCORD & SAPPC - CEWS 🕊.The workshop aims to build understanding of #climatechange, displacement & fragility risks,identify priority actions for humanitarian,development & #peace responses.



As PELUM Zimbabwe member, we are attending PELUM Zimbabwe National Dialogue on Agroecology in Harare under the theme "A strong voice for agroecology - evidence-based advocacy in Zimbabwe where farmers practising agroecology are gathered, sharing and discussing the importance of AE


Today we had the privilege to attend the breakfast meeting at Australian Embassy organised by Elevate Trust .The meeting was on women's experience in climate and environmental conservation Women and Young girls are heavily impacted by water scarcity in both rural and urban areas






We are so excited to be hosting the side event and our hope is to see agroecology being a topic on the CAADP framework AFSA PELUM Zimbabwe African Union Climate Change Management Department ActionAid Zimbabwe


As PELUM Zimbabwe network, we are in Mwenezi for a triannual general meeting where we are strategically planning for the next 3 years. Our goal is to push for meaningful youth participation within the Agroecology movement from community to global level.


We are at COP29 Azerbaijan and been following proceedings on Agriculture where there is need to include Agroecology as a topic. Agroecology’s integration reflects the need for transformative changes in food production systems. AFSA PELUM Zimbabwe
