The images coming out Sednaya Prison should haunt us for ages to come, thousands trapped beneath layers of structures, never seeing the light of day. Detainees held without charge in solitary confinement, left to rot. This is the "Human Slaughterhouse" of Syria.

It takes decades to establish a reputation for scientific rigour - something $VRTX has done - but only seconds to destroy it This is egregious. Typical of the worst kind of biotech shitco What are $VRTX management thinking of?

People don't get that religion is an identity problem divorced from texts & theology. Urban Levantine Sunnis (like Asma Assad) are socially & culturally indistinguishable from Christians (outside of holidays). Ottoman Islam is principally Ottoman. medium.com/incerto/religi…

Just astonishing - these guys publish in Cell Metabolism that blocking CX3CL1/CX3CR1 is a novel approach for treating atherosclerosis, yet they fail to cite the seminal papers by Mallat_Lab Combadiere and Charo’s groups published back in 2003! Scientific integrity matters!

It’s funny. They also say « interestingly the myeloid population was markedly decreased in Cx3cr1-/- mice ». Well, we’ve published this back in 2008! PMID: 18347211

An important article providing an explanation (and revealing a severe unacknowledged CoI at the journal) for the persistent failure of the NEJM to provide balanced science-based coverage relating to the management of children presenting with symptoms of gender dysphoria
