Zaijun Chen was awarded the Best SPIE Paper Award! The paper demonstrates a 100-fold improvement in energy efficiency over state-of-the-art, using a 3D neural network based on homodyne photoelectric multiplication with coherent VCSEL arrays. Congrats! arxiv.org/abs/2207.05329 #ONN
