Bullying and ridiculing the leader of another country (at war, being bombed, invaded and killed) on live TV, to feed your own ego, is at the very least pathetic. It coming from the most powerful leader “of the free world” is much more dangerous and consequential. Appalling.

Credit to Starmer for a smart diplomatic move. He should offer Zelenskyy our own mineral deal + more favourable terms. Zelenskyy and Ukraine were ready for a deal and probably more likely to do it with a predictable, consistent ally. GB foreign policy can’t be exclusively US led.

KNOCK IT DOWN 🚜 Our Arndale Centre is a sign of its time, and has been left in a state of decline for too long. We need urgent transformation, which is only achieved by being creative, bold and ambitious. lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/25042855.…

We have every reason to gripe about taxes; we don’t get the services for the high taxes we pay. Because what we spend it on. Welfare, Health and Debt dwarf other spending commitments. All three out of control. Debt increasing with more people now reliant on state than pay in.

No wonder we are shedding wealthy tax payers. Our tax system kills entrepreneurship and desire to earn more money through grit and hard work. Lower taxes, attract more tax payers and incentivise work, get higher receipts.

Businesses need hard and fast support. International trade wars put up prices for consumers globally. Labour Govt needs to reverse its NI & tax increases, abandon the red tape it’s imposing on companies & facilitate a strong domestic environment. The rest of us: BUY BRITISH 🇬🇧

Our Labour controlled Council is a prime example of how NOT to engage with the public, presiding over an ever-declining trust in the organisation. Poor decisions, poor communication - intentional or ignorant? lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/25169648.…

Delighted that Cllr Plummer has joined our team on the Council - she brings a wealth of experience and is well-respected. I said when I became leader of the party locally, I welcome anyone into the group who is focused on a positive way of working. lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/25220868.…

Even if you don’t agree with Rupert’s stance on policy, you’ll find it hard to disagree with him on the state of our politics, those involved and its decline in this interview. Well said Rupert Lowe MP 👍 youtu.be/553E98HR-MU?fe…

Out campaigning for the Whitworth bi-election today with some great people. Didn’t go as we wanted but the number of votes was testament to 19 year old Matthew, first time standing. Fantastic effort. Better news from Chorley though, congrats to Aidy Riggott 🔵 👍#Lancashire

The inability for a government to tackle our ballooning and out of control, £300bn+ a year, welfare system is disastrous for our country. Taken with a bashing of the private sector wealth creators, paying for an unproductive public sector, we are heading for financial abyss.
