The National Day of Memory for Victims of Honour Based Abuse is marked every year, on Shafilea Ahmed’s birthday. 21 years ago, she was killed by her parents for refusing a marriage. Today, we honour Shafilea and #WeRemember all those whose lives have been taken in this way.
