A lot has changed since the 2014 independence referendum: Scotland dragged out of the EU, a global pandemic, a cost of living crisis, devolution undermined, and repeated pro-independence mandates. I was too young to vote then - but I deserve a say in Scotland’s future now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hundreds of thousands of younger people in Scotland have not had a say about the country‘s future. According to recent polling over 70% of those likely to vote would vote for Scottish independence.

By the next Parliament, there will be a million eligible voters who were too young to vote in the independence referendum. Time for Scotland to have a choice on our future.

While Labour backs expensive nuclear for the distant future, we’re delivering cheaper, greener offshore wind energy now. This new offshore wind farm will be one of the world’s biggest - generating enough energy to power every home in Scotland twice over. ⚡️
